Wetland Soils Workshop: A Primer On Their Identification, Description, And Genesis Co-Sponsored By The Northcoast Chapter Of The California Native Plant Society, The Natural Resource Conservation Service And The California Department Of Fish And Game This Workshop Will Provide Continuing Education For Botanists, Land Managers, And Wetland Professionals On Hydric Soil Identification, Description, Ecology, And Genesis. This Professional-Level Workshop Emphasizes Hands-On, In-The-Field Learning For Those With Some Training And Experience With Wetland Delineation. The Morning Session Will Be A Classroom Refresher On Wetland Soil Characteristics, Definitions, Types, Genesis And Importance For Wetland Delineation. The Afternoon Will Be In The Field At Local Wetlands Evaluating And Describing Various Wetland Soils And Their Characteristics.
